A great win for our U13 side in Bodyke on Friday evening last.
Our opponents started very well and led by 3 points after 10 mins but the boys soon settled into their task.
Excellent scores from Teige Moloney, Darragh Moran and Evan O Donoghue meant we led by 3 points at half time. However, we still had to face into the wind and all was to play for.
In what was our best team performance of the season everyone to a man stood up in the second half. We manufactured some excellent scores with some lovely interplay between the forwards. The most pleasing thing about this win was the character the boys showed. There was a refusal to be beaten and at the end of the day the side that wanted it most won out.
This was our 3rd win on the trot and we now lie 2nd in the table with 3 games to play.
Final Score: Corofin-Ruan 1-10 Bodyke-O Callaghan Mills 0-8.
