The match was delayed for 45mins as there was a no show from the referee,thankfully Eire og had a referee

The match was played in a very hard and honest manner.

Both sides played with huge intensity not seen on a GAA field since the glory days of the great clare teams of the 90s.

Eire og went into the 1st waterbreak 7 points up and this was a lead they would never relinquish,as hard as the Corofin-Ruan players tried the nearest they got to was 3 points

The players were just immense and there workmate was a joy to behold

This now leaves them with 1 game to go and it is a winner take all game against the might of Doorabarefield,the winner of this tie will contest the A semifinal

This will be a huge achievement for these players as only 12 months they qualified for a B shield final.it really can't be underestimated how much these players have improved in just 12 months and huge credit is due to them all
